   Does the hair shed?

There is VERY MINIMAL shedding meaning the hair will never have a noticeable or drastic decrease in its density(weight) or volume(fullness). Any hair that has been manufactured to be stitched on a weft is entitled to experience some minimal shedding which is absolutely normal. However, heat damage, over processing or lack of moisture and conditioner can cause shedding, so be sure to apply heat protectant before applying heat. It is also recommended that you allow a licensed professional color your extensions and shampoo & condition the hair at least once a week

Does the Hair Tangle?

Initially it does not tangle. However, just like your hair the hair can become tangled if it is dry and needs to be shampooed and/or deep conditioned

Does the hair extensions hold a curl and can they be colored?

Yes and absolutely yes. This is 100% virgin human hair that is not processed in any way so you can color the hair. Once virgin hair is treated in any way it is no longer virgin. And so, once again we recommend that you color or process your  hair by a licensed professional.

Is #613 Platinum Blonde Hair High Maintenance?

Yes, Anytime you bleach hair to #613 Platinum Blonde that hair will be fragile and easier to break off due to the hair bonds being broken. Platinum Blonde Hair will require daily hydrating of Argan Oil or any moisturizing products you prefer as well as bi-weekly moisturizing and/or hydrating Shampoos and Conditioners of your choice

What type of hair care products should I use?

Treat this hair like your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable. We recommend using a deep conditioner on your virgin hair once per week, but avoid using heavy oils and/or heavy styling products

Do I have to do anything special in the morning?

We advise that you comb your hair every morning. Gently brush your hair with a paddle brush from end to root. Starting from the ends minimizes damage, breakage or any further tangles which helps to maintain the longevity of your extensions

Do I have to do anything special at night?

NEVER NEVER NEVER and I repeat NEVER sleep on wet hair. Sleeping on wet hair is known to matte hair which makes it very difficult to keep the hair in a good condition. Make sure your hair is completely dry before bed and you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Rolling your hair on rods or making a few twists or braids at night will maintain your curls and limit the amount of heat you have to use on your hair daily.

Tips and Recap:

It's very important to use a wide tooth comb or paddle brush using gentle strokes when washing and or styling the hair. A small tooth comb such as a rat tail can snag the hair which can cause unwanted breakage, shedding and/or damage.

  • Before Going to Bed: Gently brush hair to remove all tangles. Braid your hair into a couple of big braids, wrap your hair, or tie your hair into a ponytail or bun… oh, and don’t forget your satin scarf. Sleeping with a satin scarf can be super beneficial
  • Washing Your Hair: Keeping your hair extension clean is very important to making them last longer. Before washing your hair extensions: Brush your hair and remove all tangles and knots. Then wet a small portion of hair at the time and use a good detangling shampoo, and a rich moisturizer. Distribute shampoo and conditioner evenly throughout the hair. Always wash my hair going in a downward motion. Apply a deep moisturizing conditioner to your extensions. After washing and conditioning your hair, apply a good leave -in conditioning product, this always helps to keep your hair super soft and moist.

 • Wavy & Curly Hair: If you have wavy or curly textured hair extensions and plan to wear the hair wavy or curly you need to apply a curl defining/curl control cream while the hair is wet. This way it will stop the hair from frizzing and lock in the wave or curl in the hair.

You can basically do just about  anything with it; curl, color, brush, comb, and flat iron it to any style just like your natural hair. If you are not familiar with coloring hair please take you extensions to a professional colorist!!!

REMEMBER:

*Bleaching and/or lightening the hair can change the texture of the hair and in some cases damage the hair if not done properly. Therefore we always suggest you consult with a professional hairstylist. Again, lightening and/or bleaching the hair can loosen or straighten a wave or curl pattern. That said, we suggest hydrating, deep conditioning and/or moisturizing the hair immediately after for at least 30mins.

*If any hair texture is frizzy or dry you will need to deep condition the hair. The less heat the healthier the Hair.

*For Wavy & Curly hair use a spray bottle of water for a natural look

*For a “WET” look, we suggest a moisturizing/hydrating leave-in conditioner & water

Consider it your own… just like the crown on your head; if you take care of it, it can last for years and years to come!
